Resilience and Readiness Drive Record AP Results at Lake Mary Prep

Lake Mary Prep is proud to announce record-breaking achievements in Advanced Placement (AP) participation and success this year. While the numbers themselves are impressive, they represent something even greater: the resilience, perseverance, and growth mindset that define the Lake Mary Prep experience.

This year’s accomplishments include:

  • 112 AP students — the highest number in the past five years

  • 273 AP exams administered — the most in five years

  • 89% of exams with a passing score — the strongest success rate in five years

These milestones highlight more than academic strength. They reflect the culture of preparation that sets Lake Mary Prep apart from other schools. Students here are not only ready for the rigor of AP coursework; they are prepared to take ownership of their learning, build confidence, and embrace challenges with determination.

Faculty at Lake Mary Prep play an essential role in this success. Through meaningful partnerships with teachers, students learn how to set ambitious goals, persevere through difficulties, and develop self-awareness that fosters growth both inside and outside the classroom. This approach ensures that Griffins are not only excelling in AP exams but also building the lifelong skills that prepare them for college and beyond.

LMP administrators acknowledge that high test scores are important, but they’re only one part of the picture. At Lake Mary Prep, they are just as proud of the mindset their students are developing—the resilience, confidence, and discipline that will carry them through any challenge in life.

Lake Mary Prep’s AP success is a reminder that true preparation goes beyond academics. With record-setting achievements and the skills to match, Griffins are not just prepared for college—they are prepared for life.
